Because it's Christmas, and because Twitter is a great place to meet fun people, and all because the folks at Ayala have built a snazzy new park we can all be Christmasy / meet new people in... Let's all

Grab your banig and round up your virtual barkada for (what would probably be) Manila's first outdoor / Christmas Tweetup! Woohoo!

When: December 18, 5pm until sawa (but the park closes around 10pm)

Where: Ayala Triangle Park - that's behind the Makati Stock Exchange Bldg / Tower One. It also has entrances from Paseo de Roxas, Ayala Ave, and Makati Avenue. Ya can't miss it. It's huge.

What to expect: other cool Manila Tweeps such as yerself! Free Amici gelato if you get there early enough! Chill offline conversations galore! And more! The park is super photog-friendly - with a mini-light show every half hour from 6pm, and if you work in Makati just duck out of the office for a bit and cross an underpass and you're there!

(Can I just say that the park is totally Tweet-friendly being wi-fied all over, making it the puurrrfect venue for a Tweetup?!)

What to bring (if you can): bring a banig or blanket to sit on, unless you don't mind chilling on the grass! Since it's Christmas, let's all bring a bit of food to share with your favorite Twitterers. Nothing fancy - couple of sandwiches, a big bag of chips, box of muffins, pizza, drinks whatever. Please note that the park prohibits alcohol -- but we can always go out for a beer after ;-)

The plates, cups, utensils and trashbags will be taken cared of by us! Feel free to bring the kids, the dogs are welcome too! It is a park after all.
